What products do you supply?
Probably the largest range of purpose-built conservatories in Devon and Cornwall .
What materials do you use?
Hardwood and PVCu in virtually ANY colour.
Are you expensive?
Well, of course, cost is always relative. However, you could easily make savings compared with other companies such as Everest and Amdega, for example.
Is there room for negotiation?
No. Rather than artificially inflating a price to later offer a discount that never existed, we always quote our best price right from the start. We do not play games. We want your custom, and go about our business in a professional manner, accordingly.
What area do you cover?
Tavistock, Launceston, Liskeard, Bude, Okehampton, Plymouth and all neighbouring areas.
Do you have a showroom / display site?
No. We rely totally on previous commissions. This way a prospective client can see our finished products as they should, performing outside and attached to existing customers' properties.
Do you undertake the building works?
Normally, yes, unless you particularly wish to instruct your own builder. We find that about 65% of our customers prefer our 'complete package' service.
Do you use sub-contractors?
Yes. This ensures the smooth running of our business, especially during seasonal 'peaks'. We only use those who are suitably qualified and experienced, and whose reliability and standards of work have been proven.

Do you guarantee your workmanship?
Yes. Our structures and glazing are covered by comprehensive manufacturers' guarantees, further underwritten by ourselves for absolute peace of mind. Our building works are also guaranteed.
Will planning permission be required?
Quite often, yes. Contrary to the normal 'blanket' advice given, we find that eight out of every ten conservatories that we install require planning approval for some reason or another. As part of our overall service, we liase with your local Planning Authority to determine the exact position, and duly obtain any relevant permissions (including Listed Building, Conservation Area, and National Park consents, etc.) on your behalf, completely free of charge.
Will building regulation approval be required?
Not normally, unless, amongst other things, the internal floor area of your conservatory exceeds 30 square metres, the conservatory is installed more than 600mm above ground level, or there are to be no connecting doors to the rest of your house, for example. As with planning permissions, we liase with your local Building Control Department, included free as part of our overall service, obtaining approvals as necessary, thus ensuring compliance in all respects.
What is the delivery period?
Depending on the season, typically 6-8 weeks (3-4 weeks for self build), either from date of order, or receipt of planning permission if required. Please note that it can take anywhere between 8 (usual) and 12+ weeks for planning permission to be granted, and therefore, one must take this into account when planning ahead.
What are your payment terms?
30% upon placing order.
55% 7 days prior to conservatory installation (initial phase of building works having already been completed!).
15% upon completion, and receipt of signed Satisfaction Note.
